The Equality Act 2010
We have updated our equality documents to reflect the new requirements of the Equality Act 2010.
In line with the specific duties which must be in place for schools and local authorities by 6th April 2012, we have collected a range of information showing how we are meeting the three aims of the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties and Public Authorities) Regulations 2017 to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations in relation to age (as appropriate), disability, ethnicity, gender (including issues of transgender, and of maternity and pregnancy), religion and belief, and sexual identity.
