The Conway Centre - Arts Residential

Forest Play

At the Conway Centre Anglesey the Creative and Performing Arts programmes go beyond curriculum coverage. Art is an experience that requires freethinking, experimentation, and analysis. Where art is concerned, it is the process of creating — exploring, discovering, and experimenting that has the greatest value.

The children engage  creatively with a range of art activities such as:

Batik
Mosaics
Oils
Watercolours
Pencil / Pastel
Recycled Materials
3D & Sculpture

Who can take part?

The year 3 & 4 children from Appleton Thorn look forward to this opportunity to develop their arts skills, inlcluding music and drama.  The residential takes place in the Spring term for three days. The art work created is celebrated with displays at the school and our very own exhibition display at the PAN Art exhibition in The Pyramid Centre in Warrington.

What an experience - presentation for parents
