Welcome to Starlings, Appleton Thorn's wrap around care provision, where we aim to provide happy, secure, before and after school sessions for children that offer continuity and familiarity within the setting of the school building. Children from Pre-School to Year 6 are provided with a range of fun activities and opportunities within our link club, run by high quality and qualified staff, all of whom are familiar faces to the children. A feeling of 'home from home' will encompass all elements of our care.
Any profits from this provision will be carefully reinvested back into our school.

Children are at the heart of everything we do at Appleton Thorn Primary. We are committed to providing a caring environment where every child can thrive and is supported to achieve their unique and amazing potential. This club will promote the same values and aims that are at the heart of all our learning and experiences. These include:
-
To create an environment in which children are enabled to attain the highest standards of which they are capable, through the recognition of individual needs, regardless of their race, gender, disability, sexual orientation or ethnicity.
-
To nurture a warm and mutually respectful relationship between adults and children, in a calm, purposeful atmosphere, where children feel safe and valued.
-
To provide a sense of community by working in partnership with parents and other members of the wider community of Appleton Thorn Primary in which they develop an understanding of and respect for a wide range of religious values, languages and cultural traditions and different ways of learning.
